Facts about dolphins

This week I read a book about Dolphins. These are my 10 facts.

Facts about Dolphins

  1. Did you know Dolphins have flippers instead of arms.
  2. The calf stays with its mother for three to six years.
  3. Dolphins live in the sea.
  4. Dolphins eat fish and squid
  5. Dolphins breathe air through the top of their heads.
  6. Dolphins can dive 500 metres below the surface
  7. Dolphins have little pointy teeth.
  8. There  is a layer of fat called blubber under the dolphins skin.
  9. Dolphins give birth to one baby at a time.
  10.  Dolphins have lots of features that help them survive in the ocean.
